Geoff has developed a broad base of knowledge and skills from more than 20 years involvement with the Transport and Logistics, and Waste Management Industries.
His ability to provide solutions that operate at the front line level, to planning and executing large scale changes across organisations and communities, are demonstrated through his extensive work in this field. This has ranged from Operations Manager of a Multi-National to CEO of a large city waste authority. Critical skills and knowledge Geoff draws on includes; In depth understanding of the waste management industry both locally and internationally, understanding of Governments and their roles, effectively communicating with key stakeholders and peers, data analysis, and a clear understanding of people management and equipment usage.
In addition to this experience in the field, he has a keen interest in the theoretical underpinnings of supply chain logistics, manufacture rates and KPI’s, management of waste and recycling, transportation and work organization. His qualifications include the Diploma in Public Administration, the Advanced Diploma in Applied Logistics, Counter Disaster Operations training, and certification as a Local Government CEO helps provide a sound knowledge base to draw on. He has also lectured in Transport Logistics, and participated in local and international conferences, allowing him to keep up to date with cutting edge developments in the field.
